2016 New York Spring Season

ABOUT ABOUT

Peridance Contemporary Dance Company is back for their annual New York Spring Season at the Salvatore Capezio Theater.  The Company is thrilled to present a brand new program throughout the weekend of March 12th – 13th, 2016.  See our promotional video here!

This Season’s program will include the premiere of After Lazarus by Sweden-native choreographer Charlotta Öfverholm; and company premiere of Into the Light by Korean-born choreographer Jae Man Joo, originally commissioned and performed by The Ailey School in 2015.  Also premiering this Season is Igal Perry’s ballet Dia-Mono-Logues, which explores the ways in which people subconsciously project their own prejudices and preconceived notions onto others, affecting every interaction and relationship.  The work speaks to the bridging of cultural differences and stems from Perry’s own experience emigrating from Israel in the turbulent 1970s, navigating the cultural shift while establishing an identity as an artist in New York City.
